Excavating for Surface Preparation
Backfills/Rough Grades
Soil is placed and compacted around foundations or utilities to provide support and bring the ground back to grade. Rough grading shapes the site to prepare for final contours and drainage.
Finish Grades
The ground is leveled and smoothed to match the final design elevations, creating the correct slope for drainage. This step prepares the site for paving, landscaping, or other surface work and ensures a clean, even finish.
